Problem Statement

Incident Reporting plays a major part in terms of creating a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff at AIC. In making sure to keep track of any mishaps around all campuses, a paper based system was used whereby if someone had to report an incident would fill out a form that would then be circled around the people in charge until it was correctly reported and addressed.

This process was difficult to sustain, filled up files with forms and was hard to keep track of.

Our Solution

We designed an app that would digitize the process in a way that all concerned management and upper management would be informed if an incident had been reported.

We also categorized the types of incidents into 3: General, Medical and Bus Incident. Each category would have a customized form based on the type of incident taken place.

The app provides the reporter to be as comprehensive as the incident requires, to easily communicate the magnitude of the incident.

The app also allows safekeeping of all the data through SharePoint and Power BI and also makes it very easy for staff to keep track of all addressed and unaddressed incident reports.
