About AIC

AIC was founded in 1986 and has grown to become one of Western and South Australia’s most significant Islamic educational institutes. AIC has experienced numerous beneficial improvements over the years. Problem Statement

AIC as an organization creates plan for the institution over a period of 10 years which provides targets to each campus in order to achieve the set goals. They wanted a centralized process that would enable multiple users to highlight key areas that could be targeted for improvement over a set period of time.

The earlier process was done using MS Word which was circulated around all campuses.

Our Solution

We created an application using Microsoft PowerApps which creates an automated plan making it easier to create a 10-year operational plan, provides detailed description of what targets are needed to achieve. It also decides key areas and breaks the plans from 10 years to 1 year.

Multiple users can log into the app for their respective campuses and update status of each set target. All the data is collected and a Power BI report is created which provides a summary of status of each target that the principals use to provide details at the end of each term.
