About AIC

AIC was founded in 1986 and has grown to become one of Western and South Australia’s most significant Islamic educational institutes. AIC has experienced numerous beneficial improvements over the years. The teachers and staff of AIC exemplify the institution’s mission of educating students in a constructive manner that fosters an understanding of the world in which we live. Their mission to establish a modernized Islamic educational institution explains why they have progressed so far since their inception.

Problem Statement

Australian institutions are obligated to abide by the rules of student to employee ratios in all their campuses and are consistently reviewed. In order to keep up with the obligation, AIC needed a regularly updated report to prove that AIC was ensuring the correct student to employee ratio.

Student to staff ratio is calculated as the sum of students divided by sum of staff full time equivalence (FTE) in teaching and teaching/research functions, including actual casual staff.

Our Solution

We created a dashboard that provides detailed figures of the student to employee ratio, ranging from the total number of students against the total number of employees, and in each department of the schools such as High School, Primary School, Head Office and Non-teaching staff.

The report is continuously updated on the basis of any new employees being hired and any new students gaining admission into the school.
