About Thal Limited
Thal Limited, under the prestigious House of Habib Group, was established in 2004. It has grown to be one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of paper and jute packaging products in Pakistan. Their strength is derived not only from their parent group but also from their own values and diversity. They have now merged the Paper-sack, Jute and PP woven division and provide a wide range of high-quality packaging solutions to various industries.
Thal Limited had tasked us to completely revamp their website in order to obtain a wider reach amongst existing customers as well as potential future customers. The existing website was outdated and failed to portray an image of Thal that would attract customers. They wanted a website that would be attractive and interactive. A website that would highlight the key improvements that have been made through their ever-evolving manufacturing and distribution methods throughout the years.
Based on the points highlighted by Thal, we did a complete audit of the current website in order to gather requirements and create a sitemap. We, then proceeded towards creating user stories with the help of our business analysts taking into account all major and minor details from a customer point of view. This step was followed by registration of the website for SiteGround Web Hosting, Hi-Fi UX/UI and Design.
Once all these steps were completed, our team of web developers started their work with custom WordPress theme creation as per the sitemap created using the Elementor platform to create a face of the website. The content of the website was inspired by the existing website and improved upon by our team of content writers, whereas posters and animations were created by our graphic designers. Search Engine Optimization (SEO), a major factor in terms of creating reach for the website was always taken into account when writing contents, creating titles and descriptions of each page.
Product Listing and Order Customization, which was of great importance to Thal in order to establish an e-commerce presence on the website, was carefully created with the help of valuable and constant feedback from the sales team at Thal Packaging.
After all the necessary designing and content was completed and published on the staging website, our Quality Assurance team performed an extensive analysis of the design and content on Desktop view as well as on Tablet and Mobile view.
CloudFare CDN was configured to optimize the speed of the website. In addition to this, goal conversion was set up in Google Analytics, a Google search console was created and the sitemap was submitted to Google. All these steps allow the moderators to view and analyze activities, visits and activities taken place on the website.
Finally, QA, Social Media Integration and Optimization against results of A/B testing was done. Once everything was approved by Thal Packaging, the website was successfully submitted and migrated.
